About Thalassa
A small irregular moon of Neptune. Discovered by Voyager 2 in 1989. Orbits between Naiad and Despina. Shaped like a flattened disk with a slight ridge. Despite overlapping orbits with Naiad, the two never collide thanks to a gravitational dance. Named after a primordial Greek sea goddess.
