About Salacia
A large trans-Neptunian object considered a strong dwarf planet candidate. Has a substantial moon, Actaea, about 286 km across. The pair orbit a common center of gravity between them. Its density suggests a firm mix of rock and ice with little porosity. Discovered in 2000 by a team led by Keith Noll. Named after the Roman goddess of salt water.
