Puck
About Puck
The largest of the inner moons of Uranus discovered by Voyager 2 in 1985. Orbits closer to the planet than the five major moons. Roughly spherical with a heavily cratered, dark gray surface. Its largest crater, Bogle, is about 15 km across. Named after the mischievous sprite from Shakespeares A Midsummer Nights Dream. Its early discovery helped planners prepare for the 1986 flyby.
