About Hektor
The largest of the Jupiter Trojan asteroids, orbiting 60 degrees ahead of the planet. An elongated body stretched to roughly 400 km long, possibly two touching lobes. Has a small moon, Skamandrios, discovered in 2006. Discovered in 1907 by August Kopff. Named after a Trojan prince from the Iliad.
