About Teharonhiawako
A classical Kuiper Belt object with a binary companion named Sawiskera, about half its size. The two circle a common point roughly 28,000 km apart. Discovered in 2001 by the Deep Ecliptic Survey. One of several named binary pairs in the classical belt. Named after a twin creator figure in Mohawk tradition.
