About Adrastea
The smallest of the four inner moons of Jupiter. The first moon in history discovered by a spacecraft, spotted in Voyager 2 images from 1979. Orbits just outside the main ring at the Roche limit. Contributes dust to the ring system of Jupiter. So close to the planet that it orbits faster than Jupiter rotates. Named after the nymph who cared for the infant Zeus.
