About Telesto
One of the two Trojan moons of Tethys, orbiting 60 degrees ahead of it. Occupies a gravitationally stable Lagrange point. Has an unusually smooth, elongated surface for its size. Discovered in 1980 by Smith, Reitsema, Larson and Fountain from ground-based observations. Its face is coated with fine dust. Together with Calypso it shows that moons can safely share an orbit.
