About Pandora
The outer shepherd moon of the narrow F ring of Saturn. Works with Prometheus to keep the rope-like ring confined. Appears to be a heavily cratered rubble pile coated in fine dust. Discovered in Voyager 1 images in 1980. Named after the first woman of Greek mythology. Cassini captured sharp views of it during the final year of the mission.
