About Kiviuq
An irregular moon of Saturn belonging to the Inuit group. Orbits on a highly inclined, eccentric path between 11 and 18 million km from the planet. Likely a captured object from the early outer solar system. Named after a hero of Inuit mythology. Discovered in 2000 by a team led by Brett Gladman. Light red in color, like other Inuit group moons.
