About Janus
A small inner moon of Saturn sharing nearly the same orbit as Epimetheus in a rare co-orbital arrangement. The two swap orbits every four years, trading places without colliding. Heavily cratered with an irregular elongated shape. Discovered by Audouin Dollfus in 1966 and confirmed by Voyager 1 in 1980. Named after the two-faced Roman god of transitions.
