About Dione
The fourth largest moon of Saturn. Its trailing hemisphere features bright ice cliffs called chasmata, some hundreds of meters high. Has two tiny companion moons, Helene and Polydeuces, orbiting at stable points ahead and behind it. May hide a subsurface liquid water ocean. Discovered by Giovanni Cassini in 1684. The Cassini spacecraft made five close flybys of it.
